Sharon I do hope all goes well for you. I have just returned from nearly a week in melbourne so havent had time to do last weeks TAST yet but I will. Keep reading those books, Just finished 2 good ones, the Friday night knitting club and Salvation Creek, oh and The first Lady was good too.
I’ve just updated my blog with some samples stitched a fair while ago in Fly and Cross stitch. Now just have to catch up on Feather and then I won’t feel so “lazy”, ggg. Also on the TAST Flikr Pool “for your viewing pleasure” (oohh, that sounds a bit risque doesn’t it?) Glad to see Sharon has picked up her scrumbling, I love it too, but sadly Jenny B.’s signed book languishes on the bookshelves waiting for some time to re-visit it. Hooroo, Christine. http://www.missmuffettwo.blogspot.com/
So glad to hear that you are home and on the mend.
I have finished my cross stitch experiment, using the stitch to attach paper squares (Jean Draper style) and casuarina tree needles onto hessian.

Hi, Sharon, glad you’re back home and healing. Recovering from major surgery takes time so don’t rush. I had fun with the cross-stitch this week and you can see what I tried here: http://normasneedlez.blogspot.com
Finally remembered to blog the cross stitch, so I can comment here – having the kids off school and my mother visiting sure eats into my personal time, LOL. Anyway, here’s my cross stitch – just in time for a new one!
I really enjoyed doing this and the challenge of using a painted background. This was the first time I have tried anything like it and next time I’ll use fabric medium in the acrylic but I didn’t know…
