I’ve just updated my blog with some samples stitched a fair while ago in Fly and Cross stitch. Now just have to catch up on Feather and then I won’t feel so “lazy”, ggg. Also on the TAST Flikr Pool “for your viewing pleasure” (oohh, that sounds a bit risque doesn’t it?) Glad to see Sharon has picked up her scrumbling, I love it too, but sadly Jenny B.’s signed book languishes on the bookshelves waiting for some time to re-visit it. Hooroo, Christine.

Sharon,
So glad to hear that you are home and on the mend.
I have finished my cross stitch experiment, using the stitch to attach paper squares (Jean Draper style) and casuarina tree needles onto hessian.

Finally remembered to blog the cross stitch, so I can comment here – having the kids off school and my mother visiting sure eats into my personal time, LOL. Anyway, here’s my cross stitch – just in time for a new one!

I put up a little cross stitch “quiz” on my blog. Take a quick look at the pix and see if you can guess “where in the world” these samplers are located.

I really enjoyed doing this and the challenge of using a painted background. This was the first time I have tried anything like it and next time I’ll use fabric medium in the acrylic but I didn’t know…
