Have a Happy Easter weekend.
I followed this since the first stitch, but I had no scanner and no idea when I’ll get one, so I did not officially sign up. Now I do have one, and a blog! it is at http://tenar72.wordpress.com
I’m really behind with my stitches and have not yet gotten round to scanning and posting all I did so far, but I can’t wait any longer to show my stuff, so here I am.
Sharon B, thank you for hosting this challenge! I had so much fun stitching! And thanks to all participants, seeing your stuff every week is such a great inspiration!
I’ve just posted a photo on the TAST Flickr group. It’s a sample using a mixture of stitches I missed whilst on holidays. Bonnet, cross stitch, up & down buttonhole and barred chain. I’m up to date now – hooray! 🙂
My Granny’s Bonnets columbine was the inspiration my use of the bonnet stitch combined with oyster stitch for the leaves. Both the sampler and garden versions are on my Flickr site. http://www.flickr.com/photos/stitchintime
