I’ve just started a community project too! I am collecting crazy quilt and crazy quilt related links on my public Netvibes page (http://www.netvibes.com/cowgirl53#CQ_Links), via Del.ici.ous (http://del.icio.us/), and it would be awesome if other folks would join in. Everyone can read more on my blog, http://cowgirl53.wordpress.com/2008/05/11/surfin-the-web/
I’ll be adding more Del.ici.ous feeds as time permits; right now it’s just crazy quilts and embroidery. There’s also a tab for Ireland, and eventually I’ll have one for computers too (I’m a web/graphic designer).
I thoroughly enjoy your blog; thanks for all the great information and links!

Thanks Sharon,
for inviting me to join Stitching Fingers it looks like it could be a very busy site, how will you manage to do it all.
Having just started my own site I have just realised how busy it keeps you and mine is just so small at present. Will I find the time I keep asking myself. But I am dedicated and really getting a buzz from it so I know it will work.
It’s really great having so many online friends with the same interests from all over the world.
You have some really talented folk on your site already so It’s going to be great Thanks again Tricia

I’ll pop a comment onto Elmsley Rose blog – there are so often people commenting there that don’t have time to run a blog, or even Flickr, but I’d love to see pics of their work

Hi Sharon, I’m posting a comment here as your most recent post comments section was not coming up. A couple of us had trouble putting the badge for stitchin fingers on our blogs, could you post a couple of quick directions?
P.S. Beading daily had a simple tutorial on some cute beaded buttons.

Hi! I came across your blog through links on other quilt blogs and was delighted to hear of your new textile community. It took several attempts to register, and now that I have, I’m still waiting for administrative approval. How long does that take? I’d really like to jump in and get active soon!

Hi Heidi I usually approve people within 24 hours (often 5-10 hrs) but please remember I live in Australia so often when the majority of people are online I am asleep and I have a regular life like a family and I work! I can not be online 24/7 and I don’t think anyone would really expect instant approval as there is a human behind the works here.
